Workplan and objectives:
- provide promising cecropin/attacin containing potato lines and
- will study their efficacy in fighting bacterial pathogens in greenhouse
experiments.
- will be involved in analysing the effects of the biotechnological
approaches on rhizosphere and endophytic bacteria.
- An additional aspect will be the genetic stability of the bacterial
pathogens in vitro and in vivo as well as
- analyse the expressed genes due to cecropin or the trangenic plant.
Further, they will assess the effects on endophytic diversity.
