The industrial partner Calliope (NPP) will be assistant to partner 3. They will provide clay microgranules that are enriched with nutrients to allow an improved survival of the hrp protective mutants in natural settings like soil. As a preliminary step, they will be involved in adapting the granular substrate as a coating to potato. This protective inoculum will be used by the Consortium in greenhouse and field experiments for biocontrol and risk assessment. In the long run, the NPP partner will be in charge of production and commercialization of the granular inoculum to be used for biocontrol.
