The plant tolerates being grown at high density thus allowing for optimal land

Strong, upright and quite open. The trusses are long and readily visible.
Consequently the fruit is quick and easy to pick.

Reasonably rich-flowering, with large blooms bearing well-developed anthers.

|
Early; slightly later than Avanta but considerably earlier than Elsanta.

Fruit appearance
|
Large with a slightly elongated cone shape; very uniform in size and shape.
The fruit has a striking red colour and a shiny appearance.

Fruit quality
|
Firm, not readily bruised; light-red fleshed, very juicy with and outstanding
flavour and aroma. The taste is noticeably better than other varieties.

Diseases
|
Good resistance to Verticillium Wilt, Crown Rot and Grey Mold. Slightly prone
to Mildew and Alternaria Leaf Spot and somewhat susceptible to Red Core.

Forcing
|
Lambada is suitable for forcing under plastic.
|
